"The performance is a traditional dance drama titled ‘SAKUNTALA: A LOVE LORE’ which brings out the story of a beautiful lady Sakuntala. The story starts with the birth of Sakuntala, her childhood days and her teenage life. The story proceeds with the entry of the King Dushyanta into the Ashram and the love episode between Sakuntala and King Dushyanta and the separation of the King and Sakuntala due to the curse of Sage Agastya. The epitome of the performance is the court scene where Sakuntala comes to the king’s palace demanding her marital status wherein King Dushyanta rejects her as he does not remember any of the things that happened in the past due to the curse. The story ends with the quotes of the strong Lady Sakuntala. This performance includes the traditional dance form Bharatanatyam, drama aspects of acting and dialogues, Folk dance of the fishermen, few scenes where Kathakali is performed. On the whole, its an amalgam of dance, drama, literature and music. "
