Description

Crazy Storms is a powerful theatre play set in a refugee camp where relentless rains and thunderstorms mirror the chaos of post‑election violence and human conflict. As strangers shelter together, their survival instincts, fears and dreams collide. Sharon runs a makeshift eatery and bar to survive, but faces corruption and exploitation from Babadi, a self‑serving official demanding favors in exchange for his protection. Benson, a fellow refugee she shelters, secretly loves her, while a proud but humbled rich man, Munduki, arrives seeking refuge. Deception, humour and ethnic tensions surface as the characters grapple with desperation, betrayal and solidarity. Ultimately, amid turmoil and absurdity, they begin to recognise the need for unity and compassion in the face of adversity.
